Friendly little stop with fresh quality ingredients. Their cherry vanilla hand scoop is probably the best ice cream I've ever had. The soft serve is rich and creamy. Good and tasty hamburgers and malts. The pulled pork barbecue sandwich was my personal favorite!

We stopped in for our supper. We ordered the Tenderloin. WOW, that's one very good sandwich!! We will get that again. We also got a Blizzard type ice cream treat. We were not disappointed, we had the cookie dough, and yes, that's a repeat purchase for us . The ladies working were friendly and helpful .

The Tastee Twirl has been an institution in Rockford since my childhood and I’m not sure how many years before. I don’t know what this small town would do without a place for soft serve ice cream cones and shakes after little league games. It’s so close to the park, it’s like a tradition that has to be observed! summertime in Rockford requires afternoon trips to the Tastee Twirl! My favorite is the butterscotch shake with a little bit of marshmallow cream mixed in. Since it isn’t a chain or franchise, you can make special requests like “extra thin” or “extra thick.” I prefer easy sipping through a straw. So I asked for mine thin. do yourself a favor and try this old town favorite!

We stopped here a few weeks ago with our granddaughter. We had ordered a hot dog and french fries and two coney's. The food was great. We ordered two medium vanilla cones with caramel flavor. Super delicious! The staff was friendly and very accurate with our order. We passed through this town again on our way to Indiana. On our way back we decided to stop and get a couple of medium ice cream cones as the last time. Once again we were very pleased. It is a great place to stop. Same friendly staff and I would rank it #1. Love the flowers on the roof of the Tastee Twirl.

I already know this burger is gonna be great. Hey you can kind of make it a little rare. OK thank you I yelled into the window so she while they were cooking it. I bet it’s gonna be good. This place is still open. This is awesome. They even have a drive-through. I pulled my truck in the fuel station. Maybe I don’t know if they’ll like that but anyhow people can still get in and out. I’m probably in the way, but regardless oh shoot I am in the way. I’m gonna back out of here. Listen to me. Addison and Callie were at the helm today I had them cook the burger, a little rare wow I just took a bite low-carb very delicious and very affordable too. I could’ve got two of them. Thanks again you guys they are such happy young people. I really appreciate that and smiled the whole time. This was a double smash burger by the way with everything was not dried out

Great food. Great ice cream. Really Americana feel. I really love this place. It's what small town America is all about and what it does best. The only reason I couldn't give it five stars was because of the gnats. A plethora of gnats outside. We ate in the car. I don't know if the problem can be solved. I still loved it.
